Biography

Shelley Bueche is a freelance writer in Austin, Texas. She writes on a variety of topics including Texas travel, family healthcare articles, canine companions and other stories for several local, statewide and national media outlets. She is the author of 3 books for the educational markets: “The Ebola Virus,” and “Bedbugs” (both part of the parasite series with KidHaven Press, “Dog Scouts of America” (of the Dog Heroes series with Bearport publishers), and “Steller Sea Lions,” as part of the endangered species series with Enslow publishers, to be published in 2010.

Shelley is a canine journalist, member of the Dog Writer’s Association of America, and is the ‘In Their Debt’ columnist for “Just Labs” magazine.
